Go electric EU - Blog!

Being torn apart before going to the junk yard.

Yey! One more off the streets. Well partly. Good thing is that my EV Scooter did survive the charging mishap, but my car has died. So right now is the challenge to keep myself away from ICE-powered cars until i can buy an EV one. I’m working on some web pages, mostly in swedish to get some Adsense Income but until I’ve learnt the basics of “money making online” as some put it, I’ve just have to walk where I’m going. To bad when one has a girlfirend ouside the city. To far to walk. And now the winter has come = no scooter.

So from 2 vechicles to 0, zero, null in two weeks. I’m getting freaky here… Need.. a.. car…

Crap! It’s time to have the annual inspection at Bilprovningen (the Swedish Motor Vehicle Inspection Company) and I need to repair the exhaust system and the rear doors to have a chance to pass. So first I have to buy parts for $ 500, and then pay $ 25 for the inspection… If I had an EV I wouldn’t have to pay the $ 500, since they don’t have exhaust systems! Grr… Money I could have saved for my EV build…

On the wish list: A tuner-style EV

Okay, here goes. The 2009 To-Do-List:

¤ Do monthly tests and reviews of energy saving products.

¤ Plan and start a EV conversion.

¤ Build at least 3-4 DIY projects.

¤ Update websites and release currently unfinished ones.

¤ Stop being a lazyass and start the projects now.

So, hopefully a summary in the early 2010 will show that I’ve done well.

I’m just a bit stressful before Christmas. A lot to do, have had the opportunity to work some hours for a company involved with interior design and stuff. I help with deliveries and mounting the chairs and tables, much new to learn. Anyway, that’s whats keeping me busy and I should be back to unemployed full-time-blogger in January.

First off, I’m glad you took the time to pop in here. This is my little blog about different kinds of alternative energy, using less energy and different ways to power our cars, mostly electric. What keps me going is my interest in these questions and the feedback from readers, forums and other blogs. Love your comments!

I run a couple of websites in my spare time, FredrikMedia a site mainly with photographs I’ve taken, EkonomiZonen about economics, in swedish, Go electric, EU! about electric cars, Recharge the planet about renewable energy, Runqvist.se a personal blog, also this in swedish and last but not least this blog.

Right now I’m unemployed, meaning I have a lot of time to write on blogs and a little or no money to do cool EV and energy projects. =( But this is only a temporary thing, I hope. Would luv to order in some cool gadgets and accessories to build some kind of DIY for the environment. And present it to you guys!

Building my own EV, taking a house of the grid, building a solar powered hybrid motorhome or setting up a server-service powered only on home made green electricity. This is some of my dreams, pushing this interest.
